The importance of God’s Word is essential to any believer. Some verses everyone should be familiar with are: 
Psalms 138:2 – God magnifies His Word above His Name.
Hebrews 4:12 – The Word of God is quick and powerful. We often spend more time defending God’s Word than we do using it. God’s Words are always more powerful than ours.
I Thess. 2:13 – The Word of God works effectually in those that believe.
II Tim 3:16 – The Word of God throughly furnishes us unto all good works.
Hebrews 5:12 – The Word of God grows us from milk to meat.
Jeremiah 23:23-32 – The Word of God exposes those who lie in the name of God.
We should always weigh everything against the Word of God, and let God be true and every man a liar.
