To make all men see….. Ephesians 3:9

Society (9a) – Dispensational Sin

Sin has always been sin. Even before there was a law, sin resulted from moving away from God. Paul lists sins four different places that have four dispensational meanings. He lists pretty much the same sins in each place. Romans one is sin before the law, which gives us an idea of how an ungoverned society without God ends up. The next list is sin under the law. Here it was supposed to show those under the law that they were incapable of keeping it, so they would turn to God with a humble heart of faith. Next we cover sin in the dispensation of grace – it is who believers were: but now they are washed and righteous in Christ. Finally, we see sin at the end of this dispensation, when the body of Christ will have only a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof. This is the condition that will cause this dispensation to end.
