Society (8) – Humility

The opposite of pride is humility. Society today celebrates pride and looks at humility as weakness. Scripture exalts those who are humble and brings low the haughtiness of men. Pride worships the creature more than the Creator. Yet the Creator humbled Himself and took on the shame and sin debt of mankind.
We are told to have the mind of Christ in humility and servitude.
Everyone will humble themselves either in this life or in judgement: every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
