Looking to the scripture to learn how to live a righteous life, we find the answer throughout: “The just shall live by faith.” In Philippians 2, Paul tells us: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” 
Jesus Christ lived the perfect life by having complete faith in the Father. We learn to live the life of Christ by looking at his faith throughout his life and death. When we realize that his death has become our death, and God has imputed his righteousness to us, we can reckon ourselves dead to sin and alive unto Christ through faith. It is in believing this and walking in it that we can begin to have victory in him.
