What is charity? Almost all Bibles except for the King James Bible translate I Corinthians 13 as love, and that is part of it. But understanding what love is compared to what charity is gives us a richer understanding of what Paul was communicating to the Corinthians.
Charity, even today, is love in action. It isn’t just a feeling or an emotion, but an action produced by the love behind it. The body of Christ is to act in charity toward one another and toward the outside world.
