When we talk about study you can understand, that simply means scriptural study that doesn’t oppose other scriptures. 

There are many churches and denominations that believe parts of God’s Word, yet their beliefs contradict other parts of God’s Word. Rather than trusting what the words say, they attempt to redefine them and twist their meanings to fit their doctrines.

That is unnecessary and counter-productive. We believe all of God’s Word can be understood properly without redefinition when it is rightly divided.
