Even as the Godhead works within itself by charity and the patience of hope, it also operates in a faith relationship between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Romans 3:25 speaks of the Father’s faith in the blood of Christ to satisfy His justice. The Father believed that what had been promised before the world began would be achieved by Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:22 speaks of the faith that Jesus Christ had in the Father that He would accept that sacrifice as payment for the sins of the world.
Ephesians 1:13-14 reveals the faith of the Holy Spirit to seal believers until the day of redemption. He trusts that the Father and the Son will indeed redeem the heaven and the earth as promised.
2 Corinthian 5:7 enjoins us to walk by faith, not by sight. We are to walk as God walks.
